It’s never too late to travel

None of us quite know what is over the hill, so this website is designed to show you how two very average forty somethings packed up those troubles and headed east in search of a different way of life. Our aim was to travel, see more of the world and hope that we could keep the wolf from the door. Armed with masses of passion for seeing new places, we began our journey in Cyprus and then headed to Australia and New Zealand via Dubai. Travels over Tribulations chronicles the days before, during and after that journey. The site also has hints and tips for any aspiring long and short term travellers.
Through a mixture of stories and feelings, read all about our last days at work and then just before Christmas we headed for a first destination, the southern half of the Mediterranean island of Cyprus: the home of the Meze, Keo Lager and a flock of europeans abroad.
